The League made the following changes for the 2008 season.
- The Jr. Division age will change from 12 and under to 15 and under
- The additional $5 fee for the Muskie division will be eliminated, and will be included in the registration fee for both the Adult and Jr. Divisions
- There will be a one day Bass Challenge on June 21st, that will be open to non-league members
- There will be a one day Muskie Challenge on October 11th, that will be open to non-league members
- Muskies can be fished anytime on any of the lakes that are on the 2008 lake schedule
|
Important: For each outing, anglers must submit a fishing plan to the League prior to fishing that lake. Only League anglers (those who have already signed-up) can access the Anglers Only area and submit plans. View the Rules page for more information about fishing plans. Click the menu at the top of this page to contact the League or Sign-up.
Wild Card
During any scheduled Wild Card week, anglers have the option to fish any lake listed on the Break Line League schedule. All other rules are the same. Anglers have this option only on scheduled Wild Card weeks.
Additional Muskie Only Days
The League schedule provides for additional Muskie-only lakes and days. The additional days are shown on the schedule. Muskie days are different from other scheduled days in that participants can fish the scheduled lake whenever they want, as much as they want until the lake schedule changes to the next lake.
Species Challenge
Each Species Challenge targets a particular species for that day, such as Bass, Northern, Walleye, and Muskie. Anglers who sign-up for the Species Challenge as their League day were allowed to 1) fish up to 8 hours instead of the normal 5 hours, and 2) invite friends and family members to participate.
